👋🏿 This is a hand-forged iron hand-crafted Eternal Love bind-rune pendant.

The Viking bind-rune for infinite or eternal love combines the 'Gebo' and 'Jera' runes which represent relationship, partnership, union, peace and prosperity.

Pendant size is about 1.7" inches (40 mm) by 1.2" inch (30 mm). The pendant comes on a black waxed cotton cord necklace.

The Runes:

Jera is the fifth rune of the second Aett in the Futhark alphabet. It represents the symbolism of the spiral pattern of time. It is composed of two Kenaz runes that are close together yet facing opposite directions representing opposing forces coming together. Jera rune is also known as the harvest rune, it represents cycles, balance, end and beginning.

Gebo rune is the rune of gift, giving, forgiveness, ability, talent, partnership, union, luck. Gebo runic number is 7 and this is why it is considered a lucky one.

Runes are a Norse alphabet developed around 200 BCE, from characters used for magical purposes. According to Norse myth, the alphabet was discovered in a vision by the god Odin as he hung upside down and wounded for nine days on the World Tree Yggdrasil.

There are three commonly known runic alphabets: the ‘elder’ and ‘younger’ Futhark (futhark being the transliteration of the first few letters of that alphabet), the Anglo-Saxon futhork, and the Danish ‘short twig’ or script alphabet.
