Viking Sekira Axe Dragon Pendant, Tiwaz Rune Nordic Bronze Necklace
Viking Sekira Axe Dragon Pendant, Tiwaz Rune Nordic Bronze Necklace
This is a real solid bronze 3-dimentional 2-sided hand-crafted antique finish pendant.
The pendant size is 1" by 1" inch or 27 mm by 27 mm. It's ox finished for antique look. The pendant comes on a brown waxed cotton cord.
The double sided pendant is our interpretation of a Viking style amulet depicting a hand holding a sekira on one side and a Tiwaz rune on the other side.
The dragon, which is a prominent symbol in the Nordic culture, holds the elements together.
The T-rune is named after god Tyr or Tiw in Norse. The legendary Norse warrior Tyr lost his hand in a battle with a giant wolf Fenris while fighting to save his people. Also, Tuesday is named after Tiw. The meanings of Tiwaz or Teiwaz are sound leadership, victory in battle, success in competition and personal sacrifice. Tiwaz runic number is 17.
Optionally, you can add the genuine handmade leather pouch stitched with a natural hemp cord. It makes a nice gift case for the pendant.
